Signing up on crowdSPRING gives you access to thousands of businesses that are looking for a graphic designer. They submit a project request and then you (and a minimum of 5 other designers) complete the project and submit your work. The client then chooses their favorite. If it’s yours, you get paid.
According to LaunchAStartup, the express package on crowdSPRING is $199, of which you get a 50% cut if you submit the winning design. If you have some great design skills and time to burn, you can make $100 fast.
Sell A Design On Inkd
Inkd is an online marketplace where businesses buy pre-made design templates for newsletters, brochures, business cards, etc. It’s simple to sign up and submit a design using Inkd’s templates. The staff reviews your design and once it is accepted visitors will see your product for sale in the marketplace.
People all over the world will be able to purchase and download your design without needing anything from you. You receive a 20% royalty fee on the total retail sale (excluding applied tax value). There’s talk of an “exclusive” feature being launched in the future that will allow designers to potentially receive a higher fee. Right now designs usually sell for around $30 so you’re looking at approximately $6 per sale.
Design Merchandise On RedBubble
When you submit merchandise designs on RedBubble, they take care of the printing and delivery for you. You get to pick the margin on your sale so you determine how much you make. If you have a great design and a knack for marketing it, you’ll be well on your way to making $100.

DesignCrowd has hundreds of clients looking for designers who can tackle one-off projects. You can sign up for free and then start submitting designs to any projects you choose. A lot of projects have a high amount of competition but there are some with low submission rates.
The good news is that a lot of clients are willing to pay a decent price for your work. The bad news is you need to have the winning design to be paid and potentially go through a revision process if the client requests it. According to DesignCrowd, however, it won’t take long for you to move up the ranks to their list of top designers. Once you get there, you’ll receive invites directly from customers. Once you start getting those, you’ll essentially get paid for everything you submit, instead of waiting around to be a winner.
Submit Greeting Card Designs To Legacy Greetings
Legacy Greetings accepts artwork submissions for their holiday greeting card line. Their cards target both personal and business customers. Great Arrow accepts artwork submissions for their hand silkscreened greeting card line. Due to the silkscreening process they have very specific guidelines you must follow. It’s also ideal if you already have knowledge of silkscreening as a printing technique in order to produce a suitable design for them. Work As A Virtual Bookkeeper For Belay
Belay hires bookkeepers to serve a variety of clients. You’ll be responsible for cash flow, budget management, reconciliations, balancing books, data entry, tax preparation and more. Hours are flexible but you must be available during normal business hours. Upsell On Fiverr
Fiverr is a place where you can make a quick $5. The bad news is Fiverr keeps a dollar of that for themselves which means you’d have to do 25 gigs to make $100, potentially taking up a lot of your time.
If you want to expedite the process, start offering “Gig Extras.” You offer a simple service for $5 and then reel them in by offering something extra. Ex: “I’ll write a 500 word article on any topic within 4 days.” Your “extras” could be $10 extra for 24-hour delivery or $20 extra to write 4 more articles or $5 extra to add keywords and images, etc.
Work On OneSpace
OneSpace offers a variety of freelance work. You can find anything from quick and easy quality assurance tasks or more lengthy writing assignments. You might even get assigned to a project for some big name clients like Wal-Mart, Staples, and Ebay, which could be a great portfolio-builder for finding future jobs.
Signing up is free. You’ll also get to make your own schedule and work as much or as little as you want. Once your work is approved you’ll get paid the next day via PayPal.
Complete Tasks On Taskr
Taskr is similar to Fiverr. You post tasks that you are willing to complete for a certain price (at least 500 Rupees = ~$7.37 USD). You can then tack on additional ‘add-on’ tasks for more money. No but seriously – are you looking to build an online business?
PeoplePerHour is another freelance job site where you can send proposals to potential clients who need work done. There are clients looking for writers, designers, programmers, assistants and much more. You have to apply and be accepted before you can start sending proposals for jobs.
Freelance For SEOClerks
SEOClerks is similar to Fiverr and Taskr. You can set a price to sell your SEO skills and then you can offer extras to bump up your earnings. There are currently thousands of SEO services offered. They range from link building to graphics to writing to programming to social media and more.
Find Work On Project4Hire
Project4Hire is another place you can find a very wide variety of freelance work. Job categories include, design, I.T., programming, writing, engineering, app development, translation, admin work and much more. The good news is that the opportunities appear to be endless. However, to get hired you’ll need to stand out among the rest of the bidders on client projects.
Become A Student Freelancer
If you’re a college student, you can earn money on StudentFreelance.com by completing tasks for clients. Signup is free but you must have a university-given email address to hook your account up with. From there you’ll submit applications on jobs that interest you. StudentFreelance.com states that a job well done can turn into several more jobs. Once you are done freelancing as a student you can use your portfolio to help you land a full-time job.
Human Intelligence Task (HIT) Jobs
Complete Tasks On MINIJOBZ
MINIJOBZ is a crowdsourcing site where you can get paid to complete ‘micro jobs.’ The earnings are low but the tasks usually take no time at all. The good news is that you’ll get paid instantly after completing a task and they also allow you to sell your own services or products.
Sign Up For Microworkers
Microworkers is a crowdsourcing site where you get paid to complete basic tasks. You might have to like a YouTube video, write an article, take a survey, etc. It’s an easy way to make money but the pay is very low so earning that $100 might take a bit.

Become A Clickworker
At Clickworker you decide when and for how long you’ll work. You also get to choose which tasks you’ll complete. Most tasks are “microjobs” which means they are quick and easy.
According to Clickworker.com, “Depending on qualifications, speed, practice and concentration you can earn well over $10.00 per hour. On average, we expect that a Clickworker earns $9.00 per hour.” Tasks usually revolve around writing, translation, research and data collection.
Work As A Mechanical Turk For Amazon
Mechanical Turk with Amazon pays you to work on HITs (Human Intelligence Tasks). The tasks usually pay just a few cents but many take just a few seconds to complete. I tested it out and received $.03 for taking 2 seconds to answer 1 question so you’re looking at ~$.90/minute or ~$54/hour. Not too shabby. The tasks seem unlimited and simple. It’s a quick and easy way to make a few cents, and if you’re determined, a full $100.

Apply To Be A Personalized Internet Assessor with LionBridge
LionBridge hires Internet Assessors to review and evaluate online search results and advertising. Your review will help to improve content, grammar, quality, and relevance. The positions are available in certain countries and each has its own specific requirements including but not limited to language fluency, length of residency, and other numerous marketing or education requirements.
Become A Search Engine Evaluator With Leapforce
As a Search Engine Evaluator you’ll conduct internet-based research and provide evaluations for companies around the world. You get to set your own schedule and work as much or as little as you want. According to Komando.com, evaluators make $10 to $14 per hour.
Work As An Ads Quality Rater With ZeroChaos

There is a test you need to take in order to qualify. Once you begin, you’ll get rated by customers. The better your rating is, the more tests you’ll be assigned. Testers can earn up to $100- $200 per month depending on their rating and the amount of orders available.
Review & Edit Images For Shutterstock
If you are a photographer or image editing expert, you can apply to be a freelance Picture Editor or Image Reviewer for Shutterstock. These are remote positions that require you to edit and review images based on Shutterstock standards and requirements.
You’ll help fashion and entertainment photographers edit and transfer files. You might also help create and edit captions while choosing the best photographs for impact-fully explaining a story. You’ll need 2+ years of professional event-based photo editing experience plus a passion for entertainment and related media.

Foap is an app that lets you upload your photos to sell. Photos are posted at $10 each and you make $5 on each sale. PhotoSpin is another site where you can sell your photos and illustrations. As a PhotoSpin contributor you’ll earn up to 40% of the revenue each time one of your images or illustrations is downloaded from the PhotoSpin site or one of their partner sites.
Sell Products On Etsy
If you immediately think of Etsy as an online marketplace reserved only for people with the finest crafting skills, think again. There are so many things aside from knitting and jewelry-making that can help you make money on this site. If you’re a graphic designer, check out sellers like Vizualstorm who has made a living selling digital art and invitations in her Etsy shop.

Etsy does take a small fee to list your products plus there are processing fees to process the transactions, but it can be easier than setting up your own shopping site. Go research what some of the best sellers are doing and try to recreate their success. Or if you do happen to have some crafting skills, you can have at that as well!

Sell College Course Notes On Notesale
Notesale is a service available in the US and UK. If you’re taking a college course you can upload your study notes, set a price for your work, and then get paid when a fellow student needs your knowledge.
Notesale also takes is a step further with their Notesale Ambassador Program which allows you to earn money by promoting the service on your campus. If accepted, they will send you marketing materials to distribute around campus and you’ll earn a “generous commission” on all sales from your specific school. There are no upfront fees and all materials are provided to you for free.
Resell Items Through Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA)
Fulfillment by Amazon, also known as FBA, is a way to make money reselling goods on online. Long story short, you buy products at super discounted rates (through sales, discount codes, purchasing discounted gift cards, etc.) and then you pack everything up and ship it to an Amazon distribution center.

Resell Your Textbooks
If you have some recent college textbooks laying around you might be able to sell them for a small profit. BookScouter.com lets you type in your book’s ISBN number allowing you to quickly and easily see which book vendors will earn the most for your books. The Penny Hoarder also has some other tips and tricks for earning up to $750 per month reselling your textbooks online.
Teach An E-course On Udemy
If you have particular knowledge of a subject or skill area, you can make money teaching it to others online. While this money-making strategy requires some grunt work, the reward can be much higher than $100. You can price a course anywhere from $0 to $300.
Of course, Udemy takes a cut depending on how the student is obtained, whether it be through your own personal course links, as a new sign-up, through a Udemy online ad, etc. However, if you have a unique niche, and can market it well, you’ll be on to something.

Teach A Class On Skillshare
Similar to Udemy, you can teach online courses on Skillshare. According to Skillshare, you’ll earn money every time a student takes your class. Top teachers make up to $40,000 a year.
